About Me

Hello there, I’m glad you made it to my little corner of the internet. I started my journey into web development in January of 2020, after working in marketing for a company where the website was always breaking. I was constantly saying, “I don’t understand, how hard can it be to fix a website?” Well it turns out, very hard! I started learning how to code and I immediately fell in love with it. I started with a free course through the Institute of Code and then enrolled a couple weeks later into Skillcrush’s Break Into Tech Package. In March of 2021, I enrolled in General Assembly's Software Engineering Flex Program. When I am not coding, you can find me planning out my next photoshoot or adventure around the world. Thanks for visiting and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me!

Languages I Speak

HTML 5
If you are thinking about web development in terms of a house, HTML is the structure. If you don’t have HTML, you don’t have a webpage. That is why before moving onto languages such as Ruby or Python, I made sure that I knew how to write HTML without looking at a cheat sheet.
CSS 3
CSS is the interior design of a webpage. This is where a webpage is styled. If you would have asked me in June 2020 how I feel about CSS, I would have told you it is seriously the worst language. It wasn’t until I took an Advanced CSS course from Jonas Schmedtmann on Udemy that I realized how powerful CSS is and how much I actually love it.
JavaScript
JavaScript is what you interact with on the webpage. At first, I really struggled with how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript come together. Since, I started my Immersive with General Assembly, they helped me bridge that gap.
